Going Purple for Alanna Gallagher

Bring your purple ribbon part 1 & 2

On Friday night July 5th, then again on Saturday, Saginaw residents joined together to make purple ribbons for the community in memory of 6 year-old Alanna Gallagher, whose lifeless body was discovered dumped in the street wrapped in a tarp on July 1st. During the Friday night event over 500 small personal ribbons and 200 large tree ribbons where made.

The events were made possible by generous donations of purple ribbon from the community, Walmart and local businesses.

Cash donations were also accepted and will go to the Saginaw police department.
