In Memory of Coach Terry Houston

Wayside Middle School & Boswell High School Coach and Principal

He was a coach and principal to many but he was MUCH MORE….

He was a man that had the biggest smile and heart! He was a friend and a great listener! His door was always open for his students and staff if they ever needed advice or just someone to listen! He never passed judgment on others and always saw the positive in everyone regardless of their past!!! He was an educator that chose this profession because of his love and passion for the individuals he came in contact with daily!! He touched many lives and we all could take lessons from him on how to treat others and leave a true legacy for years to come!!!!

A quote from former BHS student Erica Gonzalez:

I can still recall the many times you said ,”big things are to come. You just have to be patient. Breathe in and breathe out. Put one foot in front of the other.” You saw the good in people and influenced many with your positive attitude and great mentor ship. You certainly made an impact and will be missed dearly.
